Loan Processor II

Position: Loan Processor II
Reports to: Loan Processor Supervisor
Classification: Non-Exempt; Full-Time 
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Location: Headquarters
Essential Job Functions:
Underwrites and processes pre-approved mortgage loan applications, adhering to all mortgage lending regulations and secondary market guidelines
  • Works directly with mortgage loan originators, responding to emails and phone calls regarding approved applications
  • Orders and obtains verifications, titles, payoffs, and appraisals as needed
Generates accurate consumer and residential loan closing documents in a timely manner, in accordance with TRID regulations

Pulls daily reports and ensures consumer disclosures are delivered within the required time frame set forth by current TRID regulations

Tracks and processes final collateral items

Updates rate tables in loan processing software, daily

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Two (2) years of residential real estate loan experience, including selling on the secondary market.
One (1) year consumer loan processing experience, including collateral perfection.
Underwriting experience helpful.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Some college preferred.

Interpersonal Skills
Work involves communicating with immediate colleagues, other bank employees, customers, and vendors beyond the immediate department, primarily for purposes of giving or obtaining information. Work requires courtesy and professionalism in providing assistance and exchanging factual information.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Proficiency with Laser Pro, MortgageBot LOS, and other relevant bank software systems
  • Ability to trouble shoot and resolve problems
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk.  Some light physical effort required.
Travel is negligible.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
