Kansas Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. (KEPCo), a wholesale electric utility that provides power to 18 rural distribution cooperative members in Kansas, is seeking an administrative assistant-receptionist at its Topeka headquarters.
A successful candidate will welcome guests, answer the phones, and process incoming/outgoing mail as well as perform administrative duties for various members of staff such as filing, typing, assisting with meeting and travel arrangements, tracking schedules, and purchasing office supplies, among others.
Applicant must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, at least three years of administrative assistant experience, and appropriate education/training in this field. An Associate Degree or completion of business school is a plus. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word, familiar with the basics of Microsoft Excel, and have a valid drivers license.
