Location: Topeka, KS

Legal Administrator needed for 18-attorney law firm with offices in Topeka, KS, Overland Park, KS, and St. Louis, MO. Position is located in Topeka with some travel to other office locations.

Role Summary and Accountability:
Areas of responsibilities include human resources and benefits administration, office operations, and analyzing, and interpreting financial data and management information for Managing Partner. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, hiring and orientation; administering health and dental insurance program, cafeteria plan, disability insurance, and profit sharing plan; overseeing payroll; maintaining the firm’s commercial and professional liability insurance; overseeing equipment needs; and developing and monitoring the annual budget. 

  • Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and possess strong multi-tasking abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Minimum of five years of office management experience with supervisory responsibility.
  • Previous experience in law firm office management is preferred, but will consider candidates with strong equivalent experience as a business or office manager in another field.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Competitive salary and benefits.
