Here is what you will do…
  1. Serve as a positive role model consistent with Polo’s corporate culture at all times.
  2. Formulate and recommend legally compliant HR company policies/procedures for inclusion in associate handbooks and HR procedure manual.
  3. Source, recruit, hire, integrate, engage and retain A-players using legal and progressive practices.
  4. Conduct market research compensation studies for all locations.
  5. Function as plan administrator for all employee benefit programs to include any compliance activities or audits.
  6. Design and oversee company-wide HR practices including valid Selection practices, performance management, training and development, and succession planning.
  7. Monitor the national HR environment for legal compliance updates, as well as for continuous improvement opportunities.
  8. Ensure all HR activities and reporting are in compliance with our obligations as a federal subcontractor, which includes EEO-1 reporting, Vets-100A reporting, Affirmative Action Plans, and E-Verify.
  9. Design or procure legally compliant HR forms for all locations and directs all HR document retention, as well as employee records, in a legally compliant and highly confidential manner.
  10. Serve on Executive Team, Compensation Team, 401(k) Board of Trustees, and as HIPAA Compliance Officer for the company.
  11. Travel to manufacturing facilities, seminars, and conferences as needed.
  12. Monitor HR activities assigned to others, including marketing, safety programs, and open claim case management.


Here is what you will need to qualify…
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
7-10 years of experience in HR and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Multi-site manufacturing experience preferred, experience and working knowledge of HR Software Systems preferred.
HR certification from SHRM or HRCI preferred.
