Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., could include some evening and weekend work.

The Trust Company (“TTC”) provides financial advisory, investment and fiduciary management services for approximately 600 individuals and business clients. The Trust Company provides expertise in the following accounts: discretionary investment management accounts, estate and trust accounts, retirement plans, IRAs, 401(k), profit sharing and charitable foundations.

Primary Accountability:               
The Systems Administrator position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of administrating the computer networks and systems for The Trust Company.  As part of the role this person will advise on network security, disaster recovery and technology procurement.  This position is responsible for providing first level support for all users across multiple locations. 

Major Duties:
  • Develops, secures and maintains local networks in ways that optimize performance.
  • Ensures security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Organizes and schedules upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Performs troubleshooting to diagnoses and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.)
  • Maintains records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedules.
  • Identifies computer or network equipment shortages and places orders.
  • Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
  • Provides orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Degree in Computer Science or engineering or relevant field is preferred.
  • Two (2) plus years’ demonstrated experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory, Windows Server and Office 365.
  • Knowledge and in-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
  • Advanced knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Strong ability to organize effectively, analyze and solve problems quickly.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a complex and rapidly changing environment and be a team player.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms with a high level of finger dexterity.
  • Ability to read computer screens, mail, e-mail and talk on the phone.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and push/pull up to one hundred (100) pounds.
  • Ability to travel as directed by position requirements.
