The Kansas Foundation for Medical Care (KFMC) is a not-for-profit organization focused on improving healthcare quality. In this role, KFMC works with healthcare providers, organizations and beneficiaries to facilitate the improvement of healthcare provided to all Kansas healthcare consumers.

KFMC is currently seeking a Quality Improvement Project Manager to support our clinical quality improvement projects in the areas of care coordination, chronic condition self-management education and medication safety. 
Quality Improvement Project Managers work in collaboration with internal team members and/or departments as well as external resources in the development, implementation, and evaluation of project initiatives. This position delegates tasks to members of the project team to assure project goals are met timely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have  experience in community outreach, community organizing, medication safety, and or pharmacy operations, but such experience is not required.  Graduate of an accredited college or university in healthcare, business or communications/marketing required. Strong communication, team-building, and computer skills required. The ability to travel within the state of Kansas and stay overnight is required. If experience includes certification or licensure, must be eligible for Kansas license and obtain within six months of hire. Candidates should be comfortable engaging healthcare providers, patients and caregivers in conversations about health topics and priorities.
