Job Title: Marketing & Sales Lead

Primary Accountability:
The Marketing and Sales Lead ensures that all sales, marketing, online, social media & print advertising initiatives improve company sales and brand awareness. The ideal sales and marketing responsibilities include leading our direct & indirect sales channels, implementing various methods of collecting target customer data, managing contracted groups who develop & determine content, planning marketing schedules, participating in trade shows, and organizing promotional events. This role also researches competitors' products and services, pricing, and market success.
Major Duties:
- Develops and sustains long-lasting relationships with key customers.
- Manages outside contractors to assure utilization of social media and online platforms to garner customer interest and create brand awareness.
- Leads direct and indirect sales channels.
- Prepares sales forecast reports tracking against budget.
- Prepares, reviews, and finalizes strategic sales proposals.
- Develops effective sales strategies to increase company sales.
- Collaborates with the marketing design and content marketing teams to produce quality advertising material for company products and services.
- Maintains an accurate record of past campaign results to determine the most effective marketing approaches.
- Analyzes market trends, sales, and marketing metrics, as well as pricing strategies to identify ways to improve sales and marketing efforts.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ recent sales management experience.
- Proven experience working in sales or marketing.
- Strong knowledge of online & social media advertising and marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and marketing software.
- Sound knowledge of sales and marketing metrics.
- The ability to anticipate consumer behavior.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to attend night or weekend meetings and work nights and weekends as required on an intermittent basis.
- Ability to demonstrate a personality which is pleasant, cooperative, and mature.
- Ability to maintain effective work relations with management, department heads, cooperative officials, contractors, consultants, employees, and the general public.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk and stand to a significant degree. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to stand, lift, carry, push, pull, balance, stoop, reach, handle, talk, hear, see, grasp, move head and neck and movement across mid-line.
- Ability to lift up-to thirty (30) pounds
- Finger dexterity, manual dexterity, alertness, precision, form perception, motor coordination, auditory discrimination and tactile discrimination.
